Following the success of "Music of My Heart," "No Me Dejes De Querer" was a smash hit for Estefan and she won her first Latin Grammy award in the category of "Best Short Form Music Video" at the first ceremony celebrated for these awards in 2000.
"No Me Dejes de Querer" became her first Spanish language-song to enter the Billboard Hot 100, and also her highest position to date (with a Spanish song) on that same chart. The remixes also made it at the Top Ten on the Hot Dance Club Play Chart.
